Lydia Thalassinou

My name is Lydia Thalassinou, 35 years old. I live in Thessaloniki and I am opening my workshop as a ceramist in the center of Thessaloniki soon. I started classes in 2019. Contact with clay made me want to develop in this field. I have been working for the last two years as a ceramist. At the same time I am training in the chemistry of glazes. The art of ceramics has countless stages such as dedication, patience and love. My work became known through social media and I was quickly aware that people love and welcome my work. I resigned from the job I had which had nothing to do with what I am doing now and was devoted to ceramics. I've always liked the artistic part of life and with ceramic art I'm close to it through creation every single day since then. The new workshop has the goal to directly approach people and give them the knowhow of this art. Apart from that, my aim is to develop myself as well. I would like to offer the opportunity to people to get to know the experience of ceramics through a workshop.
