Artist Statement

Rennie submerges herself in her subject and allows it to dictate the process/method to use, starting off with photographs and drawings.

What craft do you work with? 

Apart from printing on paper, she has experimented printing on different textiles, and aluminium. Her work includes installations and sculptures to give the viewer a 3D experience.

What inspires you to work with this craft? 

The subjects Rennie uses are very diverse. They run from landscapes, buildings, spaces, or a cause, and her work can sometimes serve as a discussion platform.

How do you start your creative process?

How would you best describe your workspace and what tools could you not do without?

She works from her studio in Stradbally Arthouse, County Laois, and is a member of Limerick Printmakers.
