Culture & Context
Once the plaster mould was made I explored with different ways of pressing the clay onto mould. Using the wheel and slab building or as here shown coils are wrapped around the mould individually. By pressing and blending the coils together, the colours mix and the sculpture takes structure before coming off the mould.
