Storytelling

Based on a photograph taken from a rare book with extinct seeds and plants, I transferred these to my silkscreen frame and printed selected seeds directly to fibre porcelain fragments with a blue ceramic stain colour. Then, I built the vessel using the technique described under the material card: fibre porcelain. In this work, I used Parian porcelain fired to 1252 C

Culture & Context

Based on photographs taken from a rare book with extinct seeds and plants inspired by the fact that world biodiversity decreases, I selected pictures processed in Photoshop. Then, I transferred them to a silkscreen frame and printed the motives directly onto small porcelain paper fragments.

I printed selected seeds directly to fibre porcelain fragments with a blue ceramic stain colour. Then, I built the vessel using the technique described under the material card: fibre porcelain. In this work, I used Parian porcelain fired to 1252 C.
