Process & Production

This is a hand thrown vessel which the main focus is on the glaze. The glaze was developing and created using materials from a clients home on Mallorca. The materials collected ranges from wood ash which was made from Olive wood, clay, rocks (I figured out was limestone).Lots of teaching and developing, processing by hand and diagnosing what the materials are and how they react. I was able to test several combinations to get this final result. Please see data sheets for notes and research on mixtures.
