Culture & Context

Inspired by artists’ own paintings of architecture in Cuba, the woven work replicates the juxtaposing surfaces. The provenance of local fibres spun in Kilcar and traditional weaving techniques are central to the work

Created on AVL Dobby handloom using twills, supplementary warps, all hand-dyed wools using acid dyes
