Cinzia Logiudice
I am Giacinta Logiudice (Cinzia) ,for love I lived in Sicily and L'Aquila with my family. Since childhood I have always had a penchant for drawing and art, following the 2009 Abruzzo earthquake, I moved to Matera in my hometown, where I decide to attend an art school, the catastrophic event pushes me to be more reflective about human relationships, to dwell on emotions and transfer them to canvas. I use oil paints, brushes and palette knives, I like to experiment with various techniques, I am always looking for how to best express feelings in order to convey them through a painting. I have set up a corner of my house for painting, but I hope in all sincerity, that in the future I can afford my own studio.
Q&A
What craft do you work with?
I paint with oil paints, I have always been attracted to art, since 2009 my work has been my passion, I am always researching and evolving as change is part of human being and my person.
What inspires you to work with this craft?
Passion is the spark that drives me to do this work, I would like my paintings to convey feelings and emotions to those who look at them, I mainly use oil colors as they are fluid and malleable, I really like that you notice the pictorial rendering in evidence, with brushes and / or palette knife more rarely I use acrylics when I want a flatter and more decisive painting.
How do you start your creative process?
I get involved (fascinated) by everything around me that tickles my creativity; a reading of a book, a movie that strikes me, a trip to a breathtaking place becomes a photographic shot with a good dose of imagination and then imprinting it on canvas, giving free rein to the emotions that are the beating heart of my creativity.
The most difficult part is the promotional part.
How would you best describe your workspace and what tools could you not do without?
In my house, I have a corner where I have my easel and a small table where I lay my paints, brushes and palette.
Are there new techniques you would like to try?
Yes, I would like to try all painting techniques among them watercolor.
What have you learnt or the best advice you have received that you would like to share with fellow crafters?
In my journey I have learned that you should never neglect your passion but continue with dedication and perseverance.

What other types of craft do you dream of collaborating with?
I would like to collaborate with those who make sculptures in glass, wood or metal.
What professional dream do you have?
I have a project involving a workshop where I can do master classes and meetings with contemporary painters, including watercolorists, and collaborate with art galleries.
