Artist Statement

My collection of wallpaper artworks, are printed in small batches, limited runs and to commission. Bringing together patterns and artefacts from around the world my work introduces and repositions time and place.

What craft do you work with?

I make innovative, bespoke hand printed wallpapers crafted combining traditional silk screen and modern digital printing techniques

What inspires you to work with this craft?

My practice aims to challenge preconceived notions of decorating moving surface decoration away from superficial pattern and embellishment.

How do you start your creative process?

Using mis-registered photomontage images of everyday household objects I reintroduce the familiar, ordinary and overlooked. I make bold statement pieces designed to sit quietly in a room playfully interacting with the objects and furniture around them, which through illusion play with the juxtaposition between two dimensional print and three dimensional objects and space.
