Samira Jamouchi

I was born in Brussels, but I am now based in Norway. My work is interdisciplinary and cross-aesthetic. I work as an artist, associate professor and researcher. I adopt a performative working process, as much as I explore aesthetical object making. Touching the material and being touch by its materiality guides me in my iterative encounters with it. Time-space awareness and a non-verbal discursive together with others in the craft making become an integrated research methodology in my artistic and pedagogical practices.
