Jewellery Making
What inspires you to work with this craft?
How do you start your creative process?
We combined contrasting materials such as mirrored acrylic and matte block coloured plywood creating complex textured pieces. The combination of abstract shapes and mix of unusual materials, colours and finishes make original wearable mini sculptures.
How would you best describe your workspace and what tools could you not do without?
All pieces are drawn by hand on paper, digitised, laser cut or cast, hand painted and hand built in our studio in Dublin 8 Wherever possible other parts are sustainably sourced, and finished jewellery makes its way to you in recycled packaging.
Are there new techniques you would like to try?
We have introduced lustrous, light reflecting mirrored surfaces contrasting with our classic hand painted wood. The iridescent colours bounce light creating an ever changing appearance depending on the angle.
